Wow, do I have some catching up to do!! It is almost the end of September and I haven't blogged since Memorial Day weekend. Yikes! Here goes our summer in pictures...

Family Trip to Wrightsville Beach
Right after Memorial Day, just the four of us headed to the beach for a few days to stay at the Hege condo. It was perfect and the last year we'll be able to go so early since Anna is starting kindergarten. There were tide pools out every day and the kids loved it!

I was able to do a photo shoot with the kids one evening after it rained and got some of the best shots! Here are my faves...
Will left to head back to work, but the kids and I stayed at Mimi and Papa's for a few extra days.
Rocky Mount Clan Reunion
My cousin, David, and his wife, Claire, had a wedding near us one weekend in June and so we turned the whole thing into a mini-reunion. David and Claire brought Katelyn and Haley, Aunt Lyn came with Grandmama and Cathy and Terri couldn't stand being left out, so they drove west, too. It was only 24 hours, but we had a blast!

The best part of the weekend was that Aunt Cathy brought her unused "motorcycle" to Jack. You would have thought she had given him the world!!

Mimi's Summer of Road Trips
Mom was up here for five different weeks this summer, either keeping my kiddos or Carolina for Sarah. We got to spend lots of time together and have lots of cousin sleepovers! Sweet Nellie came with Mimi every time and loved to "go on a road trip to see my cousins"!

Lincoln Financial Elite Escape: Ojai Valley
Will and his dad qualified for a rewards trip to California, so we left the kids with Mom and had five whole days of adult time! It was a trek to get there but was absolutely breathtaking.
Sarah and Wes' Wedding Weekend in Asheville
This time we left the kids with Nannie and Pops and headed to Asheville with the Youngs for an adult weekend away. We had a blast!
