Our Growing Family

These are just a few of the amazing photos from our maternity photo shoot with our friend Lauren.  I'm so glad we captured these moments as our family grows.

We love you and can't wait to meet you Drew!

Gramps and Papa's Special Gifts

Mimi and Papa came up the weekend after Anna's birthday and had a special surprise for her.  It was quite large and when she took it out of the bag, her emotional (and hormonal) mama started bawling.  See, my Gramps that lived with us growing up had made trophy shelves for my siblings and me when we were old enough to need one.  We each had ours hanging on the wall in our rooms our entire childhood and by the time we graduated, it could barely hold all the trophies and awards and medals.  Mine is actual hanging on the wall in our garage because I just couldn't stand for it to just be sitting in the basement.  My sweet dad had made Anna her very own trophy shelf!  I know Anna doesn't quite understand what all the fuss is about now, but I hope one day I can explain to her more fully how special that gift was and how it carries on the legacy of another very special man.  We are so blessed to have such amazing men in our family.  We love you Gramps and Papa!!

The Great Wolf Lodge

Will and I had been talking about taking the kids to the Great Wolf Lodge for a while, but wanted to make sure Jack was old enough.  With Baby Drew on the way, we decided we probably needed to go ahead and go before he got here.  We pitched the idea to Anna about doing a birthday trip and she was super excited!!  We left after her soccer game on Saturday morning, got there right after lunch, and were able to enjoy the park until after lunch on Sunday.  We had so much fun!  What a super neat place!!?!  Jack was just an inch shy from being able to do all the "big rides" so I'm sure we'll be back in a year or so.;)

The kids were thrilled with their
bunk bed tent and separate TV!
